There are many ways to travel, and some thought should be placed on the safety and well being of your dog and yourself. Cages and harnesses may well seem the right thing to use, but most certainly haven't been safety tested. So think about how to use them in the best way and/or do some research to see how you can keep you and your dog safe and happy.
Often you see dogs just jammed into the back of a car - perhaps if this is done in the right way it might be safe for you and your dog, but has the owner ensured that the dog isn't just bundled in and treated like a piece of luggage?
Is it really in your dog's best interest on how you travel or is it to suit you and your dog is having to put up with your indulgences? Ferry and plane travel for dogs? Think about what you are putting your dog through and whether you are able to prepare him to be able to cope.
