Officially, a herb is a plant whose stem does not produce woody, persistent tissue and generally dies back at the end of each growing season. It can also be any of various plants, often aromatic, used in medicine or as seasoning. Herbs have been used for centuries as a form of medicine.
Some herbs, such as Siberian ginseng, Gotu Kola, and Shitake mushrooms, are said to help an individual deal with stress and challenges.

Although herbs have been used for millennia, regulatory bodies around the world are now preventing herbalists from claiming that any herbal product can be used therapeutically unless they have passed expensive licensing trials. This ultimately puts the power to use these herbs into the large pharmaceutical companies which can afford to conduct the trials.
I don’t know about this. I understand the need to protect citizens, but I don’t like them taking God-given remedies away from us, manipulating them and patenting them. Some of these herbs have powerful positive effects, whether or not a man in a suit has given them a license.
