Conjunctivitis is inflammation of the membranes of the eye lids. It can involve a yellowish discharge from the eyes. It can affect one or both eyes, or it may be a symptom of a general illness.
Home treatment involves bathing with warm salt water. Take your dog to the vet if it doesn’t clear up in a day or two.

I have successfully treated conjunctivitis in myself and my dogs by placing a few drops of colloidal silver in the eyes.
